BRIDAL FANTASY - MAGAZINE FEATURE
Kristy & Joshe's wedding was featured in the Bridal Fantasy Magazine.
Josh proposed on March 19, 2011 in San Francisco on our way home from Phoenix. He thought the eight hour layover would be the perfect opportunity to truly surprise me and it was! He had every last detail planned. We strolled down Pier 39 and enjoyed the fresh crab at Neptunes Palace. When we were standing at the end of the pier in a quiet spot looking over the ocean it seemed to me that this day could not get any better...then Josh got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him! It was the best layover a girl could ask for and a perfect proposal!
We went with a country rustic & shabby chic theme. Our colors were ivory, gold & champagne. The touches of rustic brown throughout pulled the look together.
The large, hand painted directional signs let our guests know exactly where they needed to be and they loved the hay chair with the chalkboard so they could write notes to us - we thought it was a great alternative to a traditional photo booth.
After our ceremony we, "got away" in Josh's 1974 Dodge Challenger - he surprised me with the "Just Married" pennant sign on the back of the car that he made himself!
The "wow factor was definitely they fourteen foot high drape and dead tree backdrop behind the head table. We cemented each branch in a large bucket and then wrapped each base with a potato sack - it looked amazing. Our antique gift ladder was the most original idea and the old window pane used for our seating chart were a hit. the home-made-raspberry jelly flavours (done by Kristy's mom) finished the burlap and twine added a nece touch of colour to our table decor. Instead of a traditional cake we went with a pie buffet; our wedding pie we cut into was 1/2 apple and 1/2 lemon meringue (each of our favorites).
Out big day exceeded all of our expectations. no words can express the feeling we had that day...marrying your best friend and having all the people your love right there with you to celebrate is indescribable. I truly was a dream come true for us both.

Kinga was absolutely amazing to work with; she went over and above on our wedding day. She was a joy to be around and made everyone feel comfortable.
